Benjamin Baldwin is an artist living and working in Naarm. His practice focuses on contemporary sculpture and painting and engages material as a way of exploring form and meaning.

With a background in environmentalism and furniture making, his work often draws on relationships between land, material and time. Through processes such as hydroforming, Baldwin creates forms that suggest pressure, erosion, and slow transformation. Beneath these material investigations is an interest in how objects carry memory: impressions of place, touch, and experience.
